PRESS RELEASE
July 14, 2008
AcroVoice now supports Caller Name delivery!

What is VoIP?

Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) technology allows you to make telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular (or analog) phone line. VoIP converts the voice signal from your telephone into a digital signal that travels over the internet then converts it back at the other end so you can speak to anyone with a regular phone number.

  • How do I transfer my current phone number to AcroVoice VoIP Phone Service?

    • Contact your AcroVoice Customer Service at (250) 483-0386 after your service is activated.
    • We will pre-qualify your number to ensure your number is eligible for transfer. If your number cannot be transferred to AcroVoice, we will notify you via email that the transfer request cannot be met.
    • The cost can be up to $45.00 plus tax to transfer your telephone number to AcroVoice.
    • We will send you an email requesting you to complete a Letter of Authorization and fax it back to us.
    • We will email you when we receive your due date. If your order is delayed, we will notify you via email of the new due date.
